About Kenwood California

It is located 16 miles west of Sonoma and 12 miles going east of Santa Rosa Highway 12. Around 1834, the Indians suffered from cholera and smallpox which diminish the number of habitants. After this, European and American settlers developed it for agriculture. Today it is a serene community with ranch houses surrounded by vineyards. They celebrate the Fourth of July in a particular way by the Pillow Fights.
