About Lake Sonoma California

Lake Sonoma was conceived by the Warm Springs Dam and can be accessed from U.S. Route 101 from Healdsburg. Recreational activities include fishing, swimming, boating, camping, hunting and hiking. The hydroelectric plant generates electricity from the water discharged from the downstream. In other words, the lake provides enough water that allows the development of the county.
