About Rohnert Park California

Rohnert Park is approximately 45 miles north of San Francisco on Highway 101. It is the third largest city in Sonoma County with 42,550 habitants. It is one of the first planned communities in the US and it was in incorporated in 1962. As other cities in Sonoma County, it had a tribe of Indians who believed the land was ideal for farming and grazing. Fruits, vegetables and cheeses are grown and produced. This is the city with more opportunities per capita in the Northbay as it has the major number of public and private recreational facilities.
